Effects of LED vs. Metal Halide lighting on Tomatoes in the Greenhouse
The Oxford Greenhouse team ran an informal trial to see the effects of 650W broad-spectrum LED lights vs. our current 1000W metal halide lights on tomato plants. We found that fruit set and time to maturity were a few weeks sooner under the LED lights than under the metal halide ones.
